Public Review of Proposed Curriculum04/24/2018
The proposed English Language Arts (7-8), Social Science (7-8), and Designated English Language Development (9-12) curricula will be available for public and staff review April 30-May 4, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., at the Pearson Education Center, Room 16, 500 Locust Street.
The junior high school English Language Arts (ELA) Adoption Committee recommended StudySync, published by McGraw-Hill Education. The ELA curriculum materials will be utilized in digital format.
Additionally, the junior high school Social Science Adoption Committee recommended Impact, published by McGraw-Hill Education. The social science curriculum materials will also be utilized in digital format.
Lastly, the high school Designated English Language Development Committee recommended Edge, published by National Geographic / Cengage Learning. These curriculum materials will be utilized in both print and digital format.
Per Board Policy, all recommended instructional materials must be available for public inspection before approval.
